Responsibilities/Assignment Deliverables:
Senior Project Control Officer/Project Coordinator : 1 Role
1. Manage a consolidated project plan and schedule, day to day work of the project team, task assignments, priorities, team deliverables, issues and risks, stakeholder engagement, project communication and project financials.
2. Provide regular communication and status updates to the Manager on all aspects of the project. Prepare briefings, presentations and other project documentation for Senior Managers and C Level Executives for the purpose of obtaining approvals.
3. Manage project issues and risks (e.g. identifies, monitors, escalates, resolves, and reports) through the team. Escalate issues to the Manager. Informs the issues logs and risk registers for the overall project, if applicable.
4. Facilitate, coordinate project team meetings. Track action items, decision items, risks and issues that come out of meetings and updates Manager.
5. Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure the objectives of the project are being met.
6. Collaborates with various internal or external service providers/partners to plan/align project dependencies and/or integrate solution components.
7. Define, clarify roles and responsibilities and setting deliverables/quality/ performance expectations for project resources.
8. Champions the agile / scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders in order to ensure success.
9. Schedules and facilitates agile / scrum events including but not limited to backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
10.Directs project teams to ensure project deliverables are delivered based on sprint / project goals and adheres to quality standards.
Project Control Officer/Project Coordinator: 1 Role
1. Technology Experience 60%
1.1. 10+ years experience coordinating technology projects, at least 5+ years must include projects that required large technology procurements.
1.2. Demonstrated excellent project management software skills and experience e.g. MS Project, managing project elements in Planview, etc. Understanding of basic Project Management concepts (e.g. project goals, risk, scope, participant roles, planning, cost and quality management)
1.3 Experience with project financials
1.4. Demonstrated experience gathering and developing requirements in order to create and maintain project schedules and integrated plans.
1.5. Demonstrated experience scheduling and facilitating agile / scrum events including but not limited to backlog management, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
1.6. Experience working alongside project managers to provide updates, escalate where required, identify risks, and lead project document deliverables.
1.7. Demonstrated experience working in a professional environment supporting multiple project managers and critical projects.
1.8. Experience developing project status reports and maintaining and monitoring status reporting logs.
1.9. Experience scheduling meetings Experience monitoring project document repository and ensuring all documents are reviewed and maintained in the repository.
1.10. Demonstrated experience using the agile / scrum framework to promote best practices and awareness to the project team, clients and/or stakeholders in order to ensure success.
2. Demonstrated experience effectively communicating with teams, clients, various stakeholders and senior Management. 40%
2.1. Demonstrated experience reporting on progress of deliverables, milestones, issues and risks to various audiences, including steering committees and formal status reporting.
2.2. Demonstrated experience preparing documentation such as Presentations, other technical documentation/deliverables (i.e. technical strategy document, option analysis) etc.
2.3. Experience providing updates and advice to senior management.
2.4. Experience presenting to executive steering committees responsible for project oversight and decision-making.
